This stunning beast is a Greater Mountain Capra Panther. A predatory sabretooth cat, it dwells in desert mountain ranges. Males grow an impressive pair of horns, used primarily display purposes, though rival males can butt heads. Their long tail acts as a counterbalance when moving down steep mountain slopes at speeds up to 20 controlled miles per hour. The male can also be deciphered from it's female counterpart by it's thick lush mane that has three distinctive stripes running down the front, blending into the belly fur. It is thought the cat's horns evolved as a method of convergent evolution to mimic not only the striped pattern of it's prey as well as its horned head. Even the cat's nostrils have evolved to help easier breathe the hot desert air.
